HEADING HOME
Started our trip home and didn't get stopped once by the police for speeding... HaHa. I asked Don to pull over so I could get a good picture of this old police car. What year do you think? 50's? There was also an old caboose at the same stop. Been a long time since it saw a railroad track! We stopped for a break and to let Molly have some exercise, and I spotted this flowering locust tree. The smell of the blossoms brought back a flood of childhood memories as we had two planted in our front yard. They have thorns like a rose bush. I remember mowing our lawn with an old push mower and smelling the sweetness of these flowers and the coolness of the grass because I loved mowing it barefoot. I've loved the travels, but home is sounding better every day.
