A GLIMPSE OF EASTER
The week before Easter I was baking cookies and freezing them for the Family Easter Baskets I would make for the Annual Easter Picnic Sunday afternoon after Church. It was beautiful Saturday, so made my assembly line outside on the patio table. Layers of peanut butter, oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. Toss in some colored grass and some candy and tie up with some netting. Made labels with my Watercolor bunnies in a pot. A couple of soft and cuddly rabbits for the Issac and Matthew. It's hard to believe these little great grandsons are getting so big. Issac in the top picture will be in 1st grade, and Matthew is 4. They were worn out from playing Easter games ~ egg toss, sack races and looking for Easter Eggs. I didn't have any commercial eye dye left after dying eggs last week with Nick and Jon so came up with my own dye. Raspberry, blueberry tea bags, a little vinegar and some food coloring.
