A BUMPY WEEKEND ~
"googleimages.com" I'm sure this is what my face looked like as I made a mis-judgement on the uneven brick sidewalk next to the Church Sunday morning getting out of the car. "Bang" before I could do anything about it, I was down..purse and Bible flying. The tail bone hit first (ouch) and the head next (double ouch). Don and others rushed to my assistance and by the time I was standing..I had a large goose egg on the back of my head. To make a long story short...I'm OK. Still have a tender head, and a very sore backside. I have talked to the doctor, and will have a follow up visit on Thursday. Unfortunately, your tail bone is not in a good place for sitting....so I've been doing more standing than sitting. Well, the best place to stand is in the kitchen, so why not make a coffee cake...a little comfort food for a sore bottom, and a hurt pride. This certainly changes my plans for this week.
