SUMMER READING ~SURPRISE ENDING
Most of my summer reading has been Alexander McCall Smith. I love his gentle stories and the interesting characters he introduces in his books. I'm working on the 44 Scotland Street series, and waiting for the one I was missing from the series from Amazon used books. In the meantime, I picked up a book in the Villa Ramona small library. "Only Time Will Tell". It turned out to be a great story with a lot of history, but the last sentence in the book was a complete twist I didn't expect......My mouth dropped open. I had to read it several times...and then I just laughed and thought, Mr. Archer you pulled off a great surprise ending!!!!!!! Trains and Lovers is a short book, following the lives of 4 people who meet on a train and their stories. Very interesting and thought provoking on love. I enjoy seeing what other bloggers are reading, and have decided I will read "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrick Backman after seeing the review from my blog frie...
