PASSING THE BATON
This was a very special Christmas in many ways. My dearest was in better health than last year and it was time to begin passing the baton on to the younger generation. Our granddaughter Amanda is making a delicious dessert. A layered raspberry custard. How fun to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the next generation do the work! The finished product was absolutely heavenly! Granddaughter Monica (sister of Amanda) brought cupcakes she had made and the girls decorated them for another dessert! Our daughter Julie fixed a delicious Leg of Lamb Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings. Yes! I am so thrilled to pass the baton! Our son, Myk, the "Chef". How nice he has taken over the one of the big meals" He made breakfast for the family and did a splindid job. Eggs Benedic, steak, a potato/onion/carrot dish.
