NO STAIRS, PLEASE!
Click to enlarge Molly will be 15 the end of July. She is in exceptional condition except her eyes! Like many Shih Tzu's they tend to go blind. Molly can still see really good, but looking down the stairs has become scary for her. She missed a step and fell down a step and since then she refuses to go down. But she scurries up them like a bunny rabbit!! That's OK Molly Girl, I will carry you down. She knows her way around the complex and doesn't have any trouble getting around it or in our house, but those stairs are just to many and too scary. At her age, I can't see thousands of dollars for eye surgery. We will just take it one day at a time with her too. Our other Shih Tzu, Hildagard (Hildy) that we had many years ago, also went completely blind, but she had other health issues and we had to do what we all hate when she was nine.
