A PEEK AT WANDA'S WATERCOLORS
Several weeks ago I mentioned that Linda from Texas, the wonderful Santa Claus artist, had inspired me to paint again. Well I have not pulled out the paints and brushes, but I did go though my portfolio and found many memories in my past paintings. My dearest and I have always been involved in Missions and these two watercolors reflect that love. The top one is two little girls in Africa that received the Samaritan's Purse Christmas Boxes. This watercolor is inspired from a Missions Calendar. My dear friend Kris that I've known for over 75 has spent her life on the Mission Field with her husband Ted. Their life work resulted the the translation of the New Testament in Zapotec. They are now retired in Arizona but still work with the current translators that they trained.
