Today the rain is falling. Lots of rain. As I watched the rain from my balcony this morning the verse in Deuteronomy 32:2 seemed appropriate. There is something so refreshing about the rain. It can also be destrutive with floods and damage, but this morning it's just giving my plants a good bath. Below is one of my succulants smiling. Do you see the smile?? My dearest had a blood test this morning so we were bundled up with gloves and umbrella. We usually don't go out in the rain, but this was a time-needed test for an appointment coming up. I actually enjoyed the rain and the Lord gave us the first "handicap" park so we just had a few steps to the building. We got home and I was in the mood for a cup of coffee and something sweet. Not a thing in the house sweet, so what better way to take advantage staying inside. Just out of the oven ~~~"Date-Nut White Chocolate Chip Scones!"
