A CHRISTMAS DATE
My dearest took me to MiMi's for a Christmas Lunch. I woke up yesterday with the sniffles, but was feeling much better today and ready for a Christmas Date with my honey. Started out with a very tasty cafe latte. One of my favorite breakfast out is Eggs Benedict with honey ham on a crescent roll. This one had to be one of the best I've ever had. eggs were poached just to perfection. Marshall's store is in the same mall as MiMi's so we took a stroll through the doggie section and came home with a new bed for Molly. Hers is old and falling apart, so now she had a wonderfully soft and new bed to sleep in. Everything but the last minute baking for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are done. I'm enjoying relaxing and resting to get over the sniffles. Perhaps a cup of coffee and a slice of fruitcake would be my medicine of choice.. HaHa
