TRIP TO THE THRIFT STORE AND A COOKIE REQUEST
With my cold on the mend we decided to make a trip to the Thrift Store and I'm so glad we did. Many of you have seen my watermelon canister set that I dearly love. Well today I found 6 watermelon place mats in excellent condition (brand new) with cute checked green borders. Also found Tristan some books and a couple piano tapes and a Willie Nelson for my listening pleasure. (Yes, I still have a cassette player). When I got home and took them out of the package, the backs are red with watermelon seeds...Just too cute. On my way from picking up my mail, two young boys at the playground recognized the Cookie Lady and ask if I had any. Unfortunately the cookie jar was empty which doesn't happen very often. I told them come back in an hour and I'd have chocolate chip cookies. They were right on time, and a plate went home with them.
