SCRIBBLE PICNIC ~ TABLE CLOTH
There was a time in my youth, when mother did the laundry in a "wringer" washing machine. The wash was hung on the clothesline to dry. There is something so magical about watching clothes with the different colors swaying in the breeze. With the theme this week being "tablecloth" I wanted to remember a memory of seeing my mom's vintage tablecloth with it's bright blue border, and fruit flowing gently in the breeze. Now I took some liberty, as we did not live on a farm, and the clothesline wasn't on a hill. But that was the picture in my mind when I read the theme word. BTW ~ I shouldn't have sketched with a pen, as what was meant to be puffy clouds looks like huge birds descending on the laundry.
