LASAGNE SUBSTITUTE
I've been in the mood for Lasagna for a long time, but never have all the ingredients. I had picked up a box of lasagna noodles so I figured I could do some substitute. Recipe calls for Italian sausage ~ I used hamburger Recipe calls for Ricotta cheese ~ I used cottage cheese Recipe calls for canned tomatoes and tomato sauce ~ I used Marina Sauce Wanted to use up some of the fresh zucchini so grated two cups and added it to the cottage cheese Parmesan cheese and eggs. It made a huge casserole....We ate a delicious dinner, and I have two containers left over and frozen for another time.
