THOUGHTS FOR SUNDAY FROM MY DEAREST

Image
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." Ephesians 6:10 (ESV) Joshua 1:1& 7 -9 (CSBBible) 1After the death of Moses the LORD's servant, the LORD spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses's assistant: .....7 Above all, be strong and very courageous to observe carefully the whole instruction my servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go. 8 This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to meditate on it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do. 9 Haven't I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Father intimidation is one of the strategies Satan uses against Christians. Fear is a formattable foe and is capable of distracting us from the source and focus...

THOUGHTS FOR SUNDAY

Image
Psalms 113 ~ The psalmist calls us to duty: Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD! Blessed be the name of the LORD. From this time forth and for evermore! From the rising of the sun, to its going down. The LORD's name is to be praised. The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Then the psalmists ask a question: Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on high, Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and on the earth? Father God, Lord and Savior, who is like You?  No one!  That is why our hearts cry out in praise to You.  Bless Your NAME, the name above all names.  Lord, we rejoice to praise You from the rising of the sun to its going down, and we praise you in the night watches.  Who do we have but YOU? Accept our praise and adoration.  To YOU be all the glory!  I love You.  Amen googleimages.com

QUICK TRIP AND THOUGHTS FOR SUNDAY

Image
With this season of our lives it seems we see to many friends passing away.  We got a call that one of those dear friends had passed away and they have asked my dearest to have the Memorial Service.  We are leaving this morning for a quick weekend trip up North where we served those many years. Would appreciate your prayers for journey's mercies and for Don as he shares God's Word at the service and that we can be a comfort to the family. I'm posting Sunday now, since we won't be home.   Wishing all of You a Lovely God Blessed Mother's Day.
