WANDA'S WATERCOLORS
(click to see details) From time to time when I share one of my watercolors, it brings back memories of where I got the inspiration, and how it affected life. I saw this picture on a Missionary Calendar many years ago and I related to it deeply. When I was 16 I felt a real call on my life to serve the Lord in a full time way. A missionary named Betty Bush came to our small Baptist Church and shared her testimony about going to teach school in Africa as a Missionary. Listening to her story pulled the string of my heart and I felt the strong desire to become a Missionary. Foremost, I wanted to do God's will for my life, and that became my prayer. Fast forward to my days at Biola College and meeting my dearest who was studying for the ministry as a pastor. I pledged my life to my dearest and to the Lord to serve Him in partnership with my husband as the pastor's wife. I found serving the Lord full time, side by side with my deares...
