Comfort food! Chicken Noodle Casserole. Old Baptist recipe for Potlucks! Anybody old enough to remember "refrigerator dishes". These were my mother's and date back to the 40's. She had one large, one medium (above) and two small. Unfortunately, I broke one of the small, but have all the rest, and use them often. Old fashioned potato salad. Potatoes, onions, celery, boiled eggs, bacon. Mayo, mustuard, pickle relish, salt and pepper. I added some cilandro. Can you find a better comfort food than a warm apple pie just out of the oven? The cookie jar is full, and no kids coming to the door. But they are not going to waste. The home nurses are happy to take a few and I have had my share too. What's happening in your kitchen during lockdown?? Or are you taking advantage of "drive thru" and "home delivery".
