A LESSON FROM THE TREE
Our son takes his dog for a walk every morning. He loves to phone his Dad when he's walking Jax and they call it "Walking Jax through the Bible" as Myk and Dad have a discusion on what they are reading and what lessons or insights they see in the Scripture. It's a wonderful thing when you can have this kind of relationship with your adult kids. This morning Myk sent these pictures of the tree. Seeing it from a distant, and then seeing it up close. You wouldn't know it was the same tree. People are like trees. We see then in the distance and it's just a person but if you want to have a relationship or an influence, you have to get up close and personal. Myk has developed the habit of talking to people he sees as he walks Jax. It's amazing the stories he has by just taking time to ask questions and taking time to listen!
