LA CITIES ON FIRE
I'm sure by now you have all seen the terrible destruction in Southern California, especially the Palisades, Pasadena and Altadena areas to name a few. In many areas it's 0% containment. It looks like a war zone. Thankfully we live 35 miles away and no danger for us, but the skies are full of smoke and the news of the desvistation is heartbreaking. I don't want to get political, but this didn't have to happen if we had the correct people in office that would care more for people than a few tiny fish or a field mouse. Many people have left California over the past years because of this, and if our children and grandchildren were not here, we might have gone too. We have friends right now that have been without power for days, and are on evacuation warnings. The authorities are saying new winds are coming this weekend, so there may not be power in that area for another week.
