UPDATE AND A SUMMER BREAK

Image
I'm going to take a Blog Break for the summer.  There is many things at this time that are taking priority over blogging. Our appointment yesterday with the cardiologist continues the ongoing problems with CHF.  My dearest is retaining somewhere around 20 pounds of fluid in his tissue.  Last time it was in the lining of the lung and they drained off 25 oz of fluid.  This time it is in the tissues of his stomach, legs and feet.  He has him on a water pill that will hopefully eliminate the fluid in the next weeks.  Until we get him back to a normal state, he will be my priority. Thanks for all your love, concern and prayers.  I will pop in from time to time if there is news that needs to be shared. Love and Hugs Wanda

WORDS FROM JESUS

Image
We speak to God through Prayer ~ God speaks to us from His Word.  Listen as God speaks to you through His word. My Beloved ~ Do not be wise in your own eyes; but reverently fear Me and flee from evil.  This will bring you a much healthier life. I am the only living God.  All of the world's wisdom is foolishness to Me, but even my foolishness is wiser than the world's best wisdom.  So listen carefully to My words.  Pay close attention to My instructions.  Focus on them and treasure them in your heart. If you will delight in My Word and meditate on it day and night, then you will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.  And whatever you do will prosper. My Word will bring you life and will help you in your time of need.  It is powerful, more powerful than the hopelessness that may invade your soul.  So turn to Me now.  Never forget that I only desir...

IT WAS A HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Image
My family celebrated my birthday Sunday with a wonderful "Brunch".  You can see from the food bar that we enjoyed a variety of goodies and a delicious breakfast dish our son made. I love this picture of Julie and me.  She is daughter #2 and is blog friendly!!  She is lovely inside and out!!  She is the mom of four of our grandchildren. This beautiful bouquet was on the table to decorate and then for me to bring home. My living room is full of balloons as reminders of how much I am loved.  I thank the Lord every day for our family and the love that is poured out on us daily. My dearest wrote me a very sweet and personal poem.  I will not be sharing that...hahaha. Looking forward to our followup appointment with the cardiologist on Tuesday, as my dearest is not progressing as fast as we had hoped.  We have several questions, and hope to get those answered on Tuesday.  Thanks again for your prayers and love.
