THROW BACK THURSDAY
The older I get, and next week I will celebrate "78 years", I find myself thinking about my parents. Both gone for such a long time. My dad at 58 in 1967 and Mom at 79 in 1991. My big sis, Donna is 83 and in good health. My little brother (born when I was 10) is also in heaven as he passed at 65 several years ago. All of cancer ~ Like sin, cancer is the enemy! Praise the Lord, after my cancer journey in 2009, I'm cancer free. A good strong family. They loved and served the Lord. I'm so grateful for that upbringing. We learned a work ethic that we all lived by, and the integrity of my dad, and the sweet and submissive spirit of my mom. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I see her! I'm thankful that I look like her, and learned so many things at her knee, and how she lived the Proverb 31 woman to a T. My mom has always been my inspiration. This is what I know.....Our times are in HIS hands. He never makes a mistake...
