HELLO MONDAY ~ WASH DAY
MONDAY Years ago my daughter Julie gave me the seven little mice figures below depicting the household chores of each day. I have enjoyed having them on my shelf for these many years. Several years ago I decided to put them to watercolor. This is my little Miss Wash Day! Click to enlarge and see the details...(not the dust..haha) Monday we wash our clothes Tuesday we iron our clothes Wednesday we mend our clothes Thursday we clean our house Friday we do the shopping Saturday we do the baking Sunday we go on a Picnic These little mice have reminded me of my dear mother. She was a fantastic mother and housekeeper. She really did follow these steps and I can picture her doing each one. It's where I learned the skills of motherhood and homemaking. From time to time I will share the rest of my little mice watercolors. ** My new header is a little fun watercolor I did some time ago, and called it "Looking for Lunch and loving to read"
