THOUGHTS FOR SUNDAY
In the first chapter of our Bible Study we discussed the lie we believe about God. The list at first sounds harsh, but as we think of circumstance in our life, we would have to agree that at sometime we may have felt that way about one or more of these things. God is not really Good God doesn't love me God is just like my father God is not really enough God's ways are too restrictive God should fix my problems As I studies these statements, I realized early in my Christian walk I did believe these lies. But because of His mercy and grace I was able to understand why I felt that way, and dispel the lie in light of God's Word, which is TRUTH. Lets take the first one: God is not really good. Eve thought that when Satan put the doubt in her mind. He told her God wasn't that good because he was holding something back for her that would taste good and make her wise like God.
