GOT A MINUTE OR TWO

All my little helpers are in the kitchen and ready to get baking for Christmas.  Will be making a wonderful fruit and nut Holiday Fruitcake.  I may be the only one that likes it, but "Oh Well, more for me"  HaHa.  It's just full of candied cherries, pineapple, golden raisins, pecans and walnuts.  Very little batter and loads of "crunch". Made pulp this morning from the bag of persimmons Michel gave me, and half of it made 5 small loaves of Persimmon Bread.  Some of these little ones will be mailed out to friends. I will be making my mom's English Toffee, Banana Bread, and several kinds of Christmas cookies. What is on your Baking Menu?   Pretty scary when you are behind a truck towing a truck that is facing you!! For a split second you think you are in the wrong lane!!! Yikes! This is my cousin, Danette, who is loving on Molly.  They are going to keep her for a month while we have a few more small trips to take in July. Our next stop was a night with my sister and BIL.  We went out for breakfast before heading out to Tahoe for the July 4th Celebration. If you have never had the opportunity to visit Lake Tahoe, you have missed a beautiful place.  We have been going to our friends cabin for over 30 years and never get tired of the beauty of God's creation.   The reason for the 4th of July trip was to help celebrate Barbara and Bob's 50th wedding anniversary and the renewal of their vows on the beach.  Friends and family are gathered, as they go down the board walk hand in hand. The theme for Creative Tuesday is "FISH".  So many ways to go, but I decided I just wanted to splash a lot of colors on wet watercolor paper and see if I could find some "fish".  I found three.  That's what I love about "loosy goosy" watercolors.  Just let them work their magic and add a few lines to make a picture.
