GOT A MINUTE OR TWO

  Our "June" journey was quite a trip!  We celebrated 61 years of marriage with our family and were extremely happy to have had one more year! We look a lot different than the wedding picture, but the love and affection is deeper and sweeter than it's ever been.  We treasure each day on this journey called life! Our June journey found my dearest in the hospital for three days because of low potassium.  Took eight bags to get him back to normal.  Because of that we now have Home Nurse Care to come to the house to draw blood so we can monitor the potassium levels. We continue to celebrate life and marvel at God's Grace every day! Tomorrow is July!!!  Wow...wonder what lies ahead on this journey.  We will face each day with the Joy of the Lord which is our Strength! Hope all my blog friends are doing well.  Love You.

  It's not the destination that's important, but the Journey! In the Winter of our lives, we are not worried about the destination!  We know where that is "Heaven".  We are about loving the jouney the Lord is taking us on right now! This is the best time of our lives.  Each day we reflect on the goodness of the Lord, the love of our family and the deep love and appreciation we have for each other.  This month will be sixty-one years of learning, growing, loving and caring for each other.  So often on a trip we are so focused on the destination we forget to have fun on the journey.  Not us, we are living each day to the fullest even if it means doing nothing but watch a movie together.  Taking a walk in the complex or laughing at my silly response to my dearest when when I didn't have a clue to what he said. No matter your age, or your physical condition, I hope you will enjoy every day of your journey!
