SUNDAY BRUNCH
Last Sunday we had a delicious Sunday Brunch at the local Country Club and Golf Course. We shared this afternoon with some wonderful friends that we have not known for a long time so sitting ,eating, sharing, laughing is a good way to really get to know someone. The time passed so quickly and we were sharing common stories and eating the most delicious food. I ate my lunch in three courses ~ the top picture on the right is my first plate ~ fresh fruit, roasted veggies, poached salmon, figs and crackers and cheese. The plate to the left is the main course of prime rib, saute onions, figs and salad. And for dessert... Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, blue berry scone, fresh strawberry and banana bread. I was introduced to an Arnold Palmer, which was quite refreshing. Half ice tea, and half lemonade. All in all....and Excellent Sunday.
