GIFT OF LOVE
Some of you faithful followers will recall my pastry blender of many years broke, and I was having trouble finding a new one. My dear blog friend Martha on the East Coast heard my cry, and came to the rescue. The box came today and it was so fun opening it. She not only found one pastry blender, but two. The one with the green handle is from an antique store, and looks just like the one my mom had. As you can see, she added a jar of Grape Pie Filling to complete the picture. It's packaged so cute, I will hate to use it...but I will. And when I make the pie with my new pastry blender and the pie filling there will be a picture or two. When I asked Martha if I could send her the money to cover the blenders and postage, her reply just melted my heart. She said she would be sending it to me because she loved me. How special to have a sister in the Lord, that showed such loving generosity ...
