AN HONEST MISTAKE
Being the "Cookie Lady" I seldom make a mistake when making cookies. It's like buttering bread ~ doesn't take a rocket scientist. HaHa. But the other day, I did make an "honest mistake". My Sugar Cookie recipe calls for 1 cup butter (1 stick). Before I realized what I had done, I had softened 2 sticks of butter!! So realizing my mistake, I just double the recipe! That's a LOT of cookie dough. So I took half of it, and rolled it into logs and wrapped it and put it in the freezer. The children at the Villa has ask if I had any more "cookies with sprinkles" so decided to use up my red valentine sprinkles. I should have had green so I could have made Saint Patrick's Day cookies. Oh well, a cookie is a cookie to the kids. It was an "honest mistake" which turned out to be a blessing, as now I have another batch of cookies in the freezer. Easy~Peasy!! Had any "honest mistakes" lately? HaHa
