"CAN SHE BAKE AN APPLE PIE?"
There were 3 gala apples in the refrigerator that had been there for a week. Not the best for making an apple pie, but it seemed a good thing to make a mini apple pie to share with my dearest with afternoon coffee. As I was rolling out the crust the silly song I learned as a child ran through my memory and I started singing it. However I did change the words from "cherry" to apple pie! Most of you are too young to remember it, but like "Here Comes the Sun", once you get it in your head, you'll be singing it all day... Can she make a apple pie, Billy Boy, Billy Boy? Can she make a apple pie, Charming Billy? She can make a apple pie, Quick as a cat can wink an eye, She's a young thing And cannot leave her mother. My kitchen is my "Happy Place" and today was a happy day!
