GOT A MINUTE OR TWO

  Today I had my annual mammogram and it was "clear".  That makes 14 years cancer free since my cancer journey.  Mine was caught at stage one thanks to regular mammograms, early detection and a tenacious techniction. Two lumpectomies and 8 weeks of radiation.    With the good news I went across the street to Marie Calendars and had a piece of Pumpkin Pie to celebrate.   Opps I took a bite before the picture.  The girl waiting on me took my picture.  I encouraged her to have a mammogram.  She is 50 and has never had one! One of the ladies in my Bible Study is a two time survivor and lost a daughter to breast cancer in 2018.  She is an avocate for breast cancer awareness and shared her testimony with us last Tuesday.  She had also prepared lovely little packets for each women.  It had a daily calendar, pen, information about breast cancer and a keychain.  What a thoughtful thing to do for all our women.
