WHERE DID THE FIGS GO??
Do you recall when we moved in, I mentioned a lovely fig tree by the steps going up to our apartment. It was just beginning to bear fruit, and I wondered if we would be allowed to pick them. Well just when I thought they were getting ripe.....they were gone!! No it wasn't me in the middle of the night in my nightgown, as some suggested.. HaHa. They just disappeared. I don't have a clue where they went. One day they were there...the next day. poof...gone. So not to be discouraged, I bought a carton of figs at Trader Joes. I do love figs. In fact so much I painted a plate of them some time ago and thought it was appropriate time to share my "Plate of Figs. Do you like figs?
