CHRISTMAS ~ A NEW SEASON
The Christmas Season. I love it. I so enjoy putting a few touches in our little appartment. We may be small, but the love and joy I find in putting up decorations I've had for years and years is hugh. Many have been passed on to our children, but I kept the special ones for me. They will get them all when we are gone! My little antique carolers were found in a Thrift Shop in Boise, Idaho visiting cousins. I love having them sing in front of the church, as for all the years we served the church in Hughson, we alway went caroling every Christmas, and then back to the church for beans, cornbread and hot chocolate. Wonderful memories. Every Fall, I buy a white pumpkin, as I know it will become my Christmas Pumpkin! And of course, the REASON FOR THE SEASON is captured in my sinple Nativity Scene. I have the whole set of Willow Tree Nativity, but this year I wanted to keep it simple. Mary and the babe, Joseph, a Shepherd and a few lambs....
