BLOOMS AT VILLA RAMONA

Image
This time of year at the Villa is beautiful.  Lots of blooms and color. This tree had large tulip shaped blooms before the leaves.  I took this picture from our bedroom window.  There are lamp posts all around the complex and it adds to the charm of living here. Absolutely love the tree in front of our balcony this time of year.  It is full of beautiful white flowers.  Almost looks like snow. With this closeup you can see how lovely and delicate they are. The bees are busy gathering pollen.  Wonder what kind of honey they will make?

THOUGHTS FOR SUNDAY ~ THE KINGS HEART

Image
Proverbs 21:1-3 "The Kings heart is in the hand of the Lord, he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.  All a man's ways seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart.  To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice." Father, You know my heart better than I do.  Nothing is hidden from You.  For you search every heart and understand every motive behind our thoughts.  You have shown us what You require us ~~ that we act justly and love mercy and walk humbly with You.  So I pray, "Search me, O God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts.  See if there is any offensive in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."  I love You.  Amen. THE TWO OF US

Image
We don't get out much, but when we do our daughter, Michel takes us to our favorite Mexican Restaurant.  Honest, those plates are much bigger in the picture than on the table,  HaHa.  My dearest had the Chili Reano, and I had the Taquitos.  Of course, rice, beans and guacamole.   This was his seldom "Sodium Cheat Day." This is my clean shaven dearest. With all the nosebleeds he was having, we didn't like the mess it made on his mustache and beard.  Now I can see his sweet face!!  The nosebleeds are behind us and that is a blessing.  But we are still battling the CHF and the water retention.  He is scheduled for a heart sonogram on December 11th to see just how much percentage of his heart is working.  Keep us in your prayers.  (After a few comments, I see I should have said FEB.
