GRADUATION AND OFF TO COLLEGE

Image
Our first great grandson, Issac just celebrated graduation from High School and off to college.   He is a very disciplined and devoted young man, proving it by getting a wrestling scholarship to USC San Francisco.  He will be leaving the nest soon, and we will all miss his sweet face and great personality.  Here he is with his awards, proving that he deserved the scholarship.  We will be praying for him as San Francisco would not be my first pick for him to live.  He also had an offer in Tennessee, but that would have but him so far from home. We are very proud of him, and praying God puts a hedge of protection around him, and that he will excel in the sport he loves.

THREE OF THE "GREATS"

Image
This is Issac, #1 of our great grandsons.  He will turn 19 in June and has already made a name for himself in whrestling.  #5 in the State and being interviews for whresting scholarships at several colleges. He is very dedicated to his studies and his sport.  We are praying the Lord opens just the right doors for his next adventure in life. This is Matthew, Issac's younger brother and #2 of our greatgrandsons. He will be a Senior, so has another year of whresting.  Matthew does it for fun, and is not worried about trophys and scholarships.  He will choose his own future road. And this is Peter, #5 in the list of greats!  He will be a year old in May.  His grandpa, our son Myk takes him to the park and is loving being a grandpa.  Peter is one happy boy.  Looks just like his Dad when he was this age.  Our little Harley Boy.  His dad is the "Biker" What a blessing to live long enough to enjoy our grandchildren and greats.  ...

Our great grandson Issac, is #1 in his wrestling class, and 7th in the State of California in his weight class!  Congratulations Issac, the work, dedication and skill makes you a winner! Our granddog, Remy got a new "comfort blanket". She is loving it!  Julie got one for herself and took it on a recent trip!  It's so soft it not just for dogs.  She got me a pink one too, and I love it!! Oven dinners ~ I love them.  Salmon, bell peppers, onions and tomatoes.  Super easy and super delicious and easy cleanup!!

WHERE DID THE TIME GO??

Image
It seems like yesterday my dearest and I went to the hospital to see our first great grandson, Issac!  That was 14 years ago.  He is now a teenager and taller than his grandma and great grandma!  A sweet boy with a big heart! And then there was Matthew, now 13.  These boys love sports, and Dodger fans!  Have traveled across the country with his family to watch them play!  I'm thrilled I have been able to live long enough to enjoy great grandsons. And last but not least, our youngest grandson, Tristan.  He will be eight this June.  He is hilarious and funny and loves to be in front of a camera!!  Thumbs up, Tristan ~~ You are our cutie pie! While I was on Blog Break my daughters took me out for the day and we enjoyed a wonderful Mexican lunch on Taco Tuesday ~ Yum, fish tacos.  My favorite!  We have had such lovely Sunny Southern CA weather!! We sat outside under a canopy and enjoyed the food and view.  God is Good. ...

OH WHAT FUN ! !

Image
Oh what fun ~ Saturday the sun was shinning, and we were watching our great grandsons, Issac and Matthew play tag football.  They are getting so big and love being "Ducks".  The parents and coaches take the game very seriously, but the kids just have fun!   They fall down, get up, Issac got tired and just sat down for a while.  Matthew got a tag, however it wasn't from the boy with the ball, but he was so excited he grabbed a tag.  But for 5 and 6 year olds it not the NFL for goodness sakes, it fun.   Needless to say it was a great time and a chance to give the boys their Christmas Presents since they won't be with us on Christmas Day.   Today, back to my LIST   Mail Robin's box Make Chicken Casserole Call Andy and Chris to deliver dinner at 4:30 (Hip Surgery) The grocery store Laundry Wrap a few more presents Pay a couple bills Put empty boxes in garage Make my Rosemary Kosher Salt gifts ...

MY NAME IS MUD and SWEET MUSIC

Image
We got to see our great grandsons, Issac and Matthew, this weekend as they are moving into a new home.  They have a huge back yard, and since it's not landscaped yet, two little boys were in heaven with a hose, a old ice chest, and a whole lot of mud! I got a wonderful welcome as they know me as Grandma GG, who brings cookies!!  And I did! We also had the pleasure this weekend to attend a Worship Service where another grandson, Elijah played his guitar with the Praise Band.  Our son Myk played the drums, but it was to dark in the room to get a shot of him.  So fun to see him behind the drums again.  Reminded us of all those days he played in our garage growing up.  Blessing on top of blessings. How was your weekend?
