OCTOBER COOKING CLASS AT THE VILLA
With the weather cooling and Autumn in the air, I thought some homemade Minestrone soup would be a good choice for my cooking class. Served up with a little Parmesan cheese. The homemade bread was brought by one of the ladies attending the class. Since everyone loves dessert, and I was only making the Minestrone for the class, I made a couple of pies to finish off our lunch. Last month when I made Pumpkin Muffins with crumble top and had quite a bit of the topping left, so adding some to the top of the Apple Pie ~ sorta Apple Crumb even though it had a top crust. It was actually quite good! How can you go wrong with pumpkin pie. With tons of whipped cream, of course. I love these monthly cooking classes at the Villa, and even though the class is rather small, all that come enjoy watching me demonstrate the recipe and they especially enjoy eating what I fix.
