WEEKEND TRIP TO SEE MY SISTER
My one and only sister, Donna will be 91 in September. This is the only colored picture I have of us by a photographer. This is back when they "tented" pictures. I think I'm 5 and she is 11. She is in the hospital and not doing well. She has had several falls and now with a fever and infections and other issues. A quick weekend trip to see her is planned with my two daughters. It's 5 hour trip to northern CA where we grew up. My 85th birthday is Friday, so I will be celebrating my day with my sister. I would so appreciate you prayers for a safe journey, and that she will be well enough to enjoy a visit from us so we can love on her, encourage her, pray with her, and give support to her son, Scott who is her caregiver.
