SCRIBBLE PICNIC ~ TIED UP
In 1941 my parents sold everything in Oklahoma and headed to California. I was born 6 months later. Don't think it looked like this. HaHa...But are you old enough to remember "Grapes of Wrath?" This might be a closer rendition to that. I left for a trip at the beginning of this group of "Words" and submitted the sketches below to cover the entire time. However, we are back, and I decided to enlarge the quick sketch for "Tied Up" so I could participate in the last week with all the other artists. Had a wonderful trip seeing our daughter and grandson in Oregon, getting to visit a blog friend, my sister, and attend a First Baptist Church of Hughson, CA where we served for twenty-seven years.
