It's been a LONG, LONG time!

It has been a long, long time since I posted anything, in fact July 11th. It's not because I didn't want too, but because life got in the way.  I had to decide where my priorities were and I just needed a break from blogging to get myself through several medical issues. I needed to remember I'm 85 not 60! HaHa   My body is ready to accept that, but my brain is kicking and screaming.  That said, I do plan to get back in the groove and even if it's not exciting news, I want to be in touch again with all of you.  I have visited you often but haven't left very many messages.

The above picture was taken at Geezers Restaurant with my daughter after my appointment to get jell shots in both knees for arthritis.  One of my "issues".

Until next time!

  2. I completely am with you on aging and health issues and still blogging. Ouch to your knee injections, I hope they work very well. I like the name Geezers for a restaurant. Do they age check their customers? Ha ha.

  5. Awww my sweet friend, I am so happy to see your comments and this new blog post.
You have been truly missed. Health issues seem to be the topic of the day for us too. I remember getting shots in my knee too long ago. It did help but it hurt having it done and the after "glow" too.
Life gets harder but I am glad that Dave and I know where to put our trust.
    (((hugs)))

  7. That is a beautiful picture of you and I laughed at the restaurants name! :-) You always have to take care of yourself first. There are times when I'm not online as much too. Life happens. We'll be here waiting when you come back. I sure hope the shots help your knees.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
