WONDERFUL TIME WITH JILL AND TRISTAN

Jill and Tristan arrived and off to San Diego Zoo we went.

Such fun to be with Tristan. The animals were very cooperative and came up close so we could get some fun pictures.  Here we are just monkeying around. haha

The Hippo's were our favorite.  Came right up to the glass enclosure.

That hugh hipo floated like a feather.  Amazing!! You can see Tristan was so tickled.  His first time at a Zoo.

"The Panda's are Back" was on signs everywhere.  The Zoo in China has loaned us a male and female Panda on a ten year contract.  They are much bigger than I imaged!  You had to wait in line to see them.

So many other animals that we were able to see up close and personal and got some great pictures, but that's all I'll share.

After the Zoo, Tristan spent a day with his Uncle Ralph going deep sea fishing.  He was very successful caught a good amount of white fish and cod.  I had to laugh when he told me the captain came over to take the hook out and bag the fish for him.  When he got there Tristan had already de-hooked and bagged his fish.  The capain was quite impressed.  He didn't know this boy has been fishing since he could stand alone!!!

Grandpa wasn't able to travel to the Zoo, but he got a lot of loving time with Jill and Tristan when we got home.
This was one of Tristan's Surprise Birthday gifts.  I had been collecting one dollar bills for several weeks and taped them together in a kleenix box,  He couldn't believe as he kept pulling out dollars.  $25 isn't a lot of money, but when 25 are taped together it looked like it would never stop!!! He loved it and I had fun making it for him.

This trip ~~ A treasured Memory Forever!!
