OUR GRANDSON THE CHEF

Our grandson Nick is a chef in a highend restaurant and we had the privilage of having him prepare our Anniversary dinner.
It was such a delightful evening watching our grandson preparing our meal.  The chef's work from area where we were seated.
The food was to die for.  Our salad was a beet candied walnut that was Nick's creation since he knows his grandpa loves beets.

The prawns were so delicious and whatever the secret sauce was, it was unbelieable.  An those were just the appitizers.  Had Halibut for dinner.
Our daughter Julie, and her husband Ralph are the very proud parents of Nick.  He has always love to cook.  I remember when he was a little boy and would make cup cakes or cookies with me.  How wonderful to have a job that you absolutely love doing.

Thank you Nick, Julie and Ralph for a 64th Anniversary to remember.

    (((hugs)))
We are having our small group here for dessert tonight. Jeff will be in town from Oregon and we need to catch up on what's been going on in his life. Got to get cracking and straightening up the place. Bought an apple pie from Costco and am calling it good and done. Our get up and Go isn't back to energy yet so this will have to do.
Really trying to go gently into the next years of our lives..not too gracefully though...

    1. Oh Sue, thank you. It was a very special night. I remember being in your home and enjoying your small group. More and more our family is using Costco and gatering for big events. Actually cheaper in the long run. Don and I also are pacing ourselves. One event a week can be too many. Most of them are doctor appts. HaHa. Love you to the moon and beyone. Miss you so much...that the Lord for our Blogs and we can keep up with each other. Hugs.
