THE BEAN STALK BLOOMED

Remember the bulb I planted last Christmas...and it started growing like Jack's Bean Stalk.  The above picture is a few months after planting the bulb.

It just kept growing and producing leaf after leaf.  Well when we got home from our trip up North it had started to bloom and now stand about 4 feet tall.

The bloom is lovely and certainly worth the wait!
Then this morning, I notices another plant is coming up in the same pot...so maybe I will have another surprise.

  7. I planted about 4 canna lilies around 8 years ago in my front yard in a spot where I could get NOTHING else to grow. I now probably have 50 of various sizes. They seem to be VERY prolific. Yours is beautiful.
