SCRIBBLE PICNIC ~ ACROSS THE UNIVERSE

YIKES ~ it's Wednesday and I just remembered it was Scribble Picnic Day!  The theme was "Across the Universe".
I thought for a moment and two pictures came to mind.  A space shuttle zooming across the universe, and ET a little slower in the basket on a bike.  I chose the latter.   Who didn't love ET?

Since I was under the gun, so to speak, I made the moon with a salad plate (haha) and then splashed on some dark blue and added some sea salt, unfortunately my camera didn't pick up the stars it created.  ET and his driver was done with a sharpie, and dabbed the moon with a sponge and a little paint.

Sorry I couldn't take more time for this theme, but life got in the way.  I really hate to not participate, so this will have to do for this time.

So zip across the universe by clicking on the Scribble Picnic Badge on my sidebar.

  3. I love it!!! I saw ET in theaters and I cried my eyes out at the end...I can't watch that movie without getting weepy to this day! :)

By the way, don't know if you know this tip, but for the stars, I use either watercolour paint or acrylic paint, dip an old toothbrush in water then in the paint and rake my fingers across and it makes a lovely snowfall or starry sky depending on how much water and pressure you put on the bristles. :)

  10. ET is the perfect choice and so what if you did it quickly. The proof is in the pudding, so they say, and your ET is perfect. Life does seem to get in the way of things more often than not ... so continue to have a wonderfully busy life, Wanda ...
