We are hooked on spaghetti squash. So delicious and better for you than pasta. I puncture a whole squash and place in the crock pot early afternoon. After a couple hours I add to sweet Italian saugages to the crock pot and let it cook until tender. Cut the squash in half leaving it in the shell.
Using a fork pull the flesh away from the shell and add salt and butter. than I add the Italian sausage that I have cut into bite size pieces.
Add some spaghetti sauce and a little Parmesan cheese and you have a meal in a shell. Sometimes I add a salad, but this evening we just wanted the squash.
