Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for our trip to Tucson for Dustin's Memorial Service. It was a sad but beautiful service. Dustin was a fabulous classical guitar player, and his CD music filled the church and was such a blessing.
When we got home I had an email from Kris, and she said her hibiscus had bloomed the day after we left.
When I got home, my hibiscus on the balcony had bloomed. Even our flowers are connected. What a friendship we share over 70+ years.
The balcony is looking so pretty with my new plants. Love sitting there and doing my daily reading.
I had a $10 credit at Kirkland Home so I used it for a new Candle for Fall. "Cinnamon Coffee Cake". Smells good enough to eat.
Every once in a while you just need a meal of old fashioned meatloaf and scalloped potatoes.
Visited a thrift store while in Tucson called The Golden Goose, and I did find some treasures. A soft cotton queen size fat sheet and two pillowcases with lace borders. Love soft cotton. Sheet $2 and pillowcases $.50 ea. A "J.Jill" top with lovely colors, and a Clive Cussler Novel...Love this mans story telling ability. This one takes place at Pearl Harbor 1941.
Since I love to read. My friend Linda loaned me the latest book from Jan Karon ~ the Mitford Series. Have you read any of this series?
Last but not least ~ Molly is happy to be home after a weekend in the Kennel.
My dearest will be having cataract surgery on Monday. Would appreciate your prayers.
