BELATED SAINT PATRICK DAY LUNCHEON

One of the ladies in our complex wanted to do a traditional Saint Patrick Day luncheon for a group of the senior women.  The calendar filled up and so we had it on Monday, instead of Friday.

The table was decorated so cute, and the food was delicious. Corn beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots.   Fresh mint tea, hot rolls.
These two ladies, Rosemary and Priscilla did all the work.  Rosemary did the cooking, and Priscilla was her right hand.
We had a drawing for a little gift. (a green bead necklace and earrings) and Lupia won it.  She is the little lady in the middle and just celebrated her 97th birthday.  She was so cute as she told us it was the first time in her life she had won anything.  Everyone was so glad her name was picked out of the bag.

Since it was just for "women", Rosemary made sure Don got a plate.  He was one happy camper!!!

  3. And I am happy that Lupia won the jewelry, too! Everyone needs to win something every now and then. Looks as if everyone was a winner with that delicious St.Pat's meal.
