HOMEMADE SOUP ON A RAINY DAY

Minestrone Soup~ Yum

Rainy days in the neighborhood.
So sad the storms in other parts of the country that are causing so much damage and loss of life.  Nature is a powerful thing!  Prayers for those affected by the weather.

What does you Monday look like?

  1. How funny-I got a bug up to make soup tonight, too. I made corn chowder with bacon, potatoes, celery and onions...so so good. Ate a big bowl and am good for the night.

It was grey and overcast here today but we hit the upper 30's -unheard of for us this time of year. Tomorrow night back to snow and wind. ugh. xo Diana

  2. It has been awful weather around here and I just heard of a man who was killed when a sign fell on him. Praying for those who are in the line of this storm. No soup here, but a ham dinner is on the way.

  3. Ha, I made chicken and rice soup. Great minds run in same direction, lol... We are getting an ice storm tonite with lots of heavy wind. If we don't lose electricity I will be sewing. Hugs, LJ

  8. Yummy, yummy! I always make lots of soups. My Monday was a quiet one. My mom and brother are in Hattiesburg where a tornado hit over the weekend but they are are fine as it hit the outskirts of town. The town where I used to live in Georgia also got hit with storms and tornadoes. Scary weather for sure. Take care!

  12. Wanda, I will join you in prayers for all of our nation in dire straights from the weather. I wish we could all have just enough rain and snow...not too much and we all need some sunshine. I made soup yesterday also. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  15. Mmm... your soup looks oh-so-good, my friend. I was just thinking that I would make soup/stew for supper tonight as it's quite cold today. The lovely Kitty from Kitty's Kozy Kitchen shared a yummy chicken stew recipe and methinks my family and I will enjoy it for supper :)

    Hugs to you, dear one!
