Having our granddaughter, Monique and her hubby, Eddie worship with us at Church.

Celebrating Eddie's graduation (belated) and both of our Anniversaries (in June).  This was the first time we had the chance to get together for these celebrations.  We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Red Lobster.

Today we began our new Women's Bible Study class.  Our leader, Jessica makes our packets so attractive.  A folder with a schedule of all the lessons and when we will have our potlucks.  A beautiful journal to keep notes and prayer requests, and our study books on I and II Thessalonians.  Even a cute little book marker!!

How is your week going?

  1. Wanda, You are all so nice looking together. I know how you love the kids. Red lobster is always a nice place to enjoy a meal with family. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  2. SO sweet that you are so close to your granddaughter and her husband. You all look beautiful. Love your Bible study materials and pretty journal. Those are two great little books containing so much hope!

  3. I'm off to a running start this week. I'll let you know how it goes.

  4. you are blessed, such close family!

  5. What a cute couple and your granddaughter and her husband are cute, too. What a joy to have them worship with you! Somebody did a great job with the study materials...so thoughtful!

    1. It is so nice to live near to your relatives and to be able to worship and eat with them. I know that you are loving that. Your Bible study sounds fabulous. Someone has gone to a lot of work to organize and prepare materials. Have fun!

  6. What a great idea! Maybe my hubby will let me get journals for everyone in my class this quarter. Love the idea. Also, thanks for your kinds words on my blog. I didn't get to reply, but your encouragement to me is always appreciated. You are such a blessing to the world of Blogland.

  7. I can't believe that wedding was a year ago already! Time really does fly, doesn't it? They still look like a happy couple! Glad you had a fun time with them!

  8. It's been a crazy week. Lots of errands and prep for my friend Bev coming to visit next Tuesday. Of course there are the mundane things like bills to pay, housework and fun things like our Small Group meeting finally. Love the pictures of you and the family. You Bible Study leader really goes to a lot of work to make your study time and time together special. It looks like a great study. Have a terrific rest of the week.

  9. How nice you could celebrate together.
    Pretty journals.

  10. Hi Wanda, checking in after a lot of time away from blogging. Are you still painting? I have read back through a number of your posts. Ouch, that tooth! I feel your pain (literally) as I had a tooth extracted after a split earlier this year. Good to see happy times with your family and your new Bible study. I did the Life Change study on Hebrews years ago. I forgot about those and am glad I saw them here. I lead a ladies group and just might have to look for those for an upcoming study!
