I FOUND IT ~~~ I FOUND IT ~~~ I FOUND IT !!!!!

Mystery solved!!!! Have you ever looked for something in a certain place several times....and then look again and it appears????

When my camera and makeup bag went missing Don and I checked both cars.  Front seat, back seat, trunk, under the seats...Nothing!!!

Fast forward two weeks ~ Today I went to a Ladies Tea Party to end our Bible Study session for the Summer break.  I had several things to put in the back seat and when I sat my book bag down I saw a small sparkle under the front seat and reached down and it was my makeup bag...a little further under the seat was my camera.   I can't believe they were under the seat the whole time, as I remember looking and feeling under that seat a couple of times.

Needless to say, I did a happy dance right there in the parking spot and kissed that little (old beat up held together with tape) camera.

I know many of you have been concerned with me, but take a deep breath...mystery solved and many more pictures will come from that  little Cannon Powershot!

  1. I usually don't find a lost object until I buy a replacement for it.

    1. You know we've had so many overcast days...it was in tact!!! That would have been a mess in my nice makeup bag my daughter got me.

  5. I never saw the sparkly bag either and I rode in the backseat several times. Of course, getting my head under the seats was a whole lot easier 45-50 years ago...
I lost my wallet on Friday and didn't notice it missing until Sunday morning. It was in my van. I'd tossed it onto the front seat after my stop at Tractor Supply to buy chicken feed and it bounced off toward the door and I promptly forgot all about it. Thankfully it was stuck between the seat the the panel between the front and slider doors.
If I'm to lose it with anybody, you are my first choice.

    1. PS. I'm glad it showed up even if it did take two weeks longer than the sweater.

    2. HaHa...thanks for sharing the wallet saga...I don't feel so alone. It was such a welcome sight to see it. Also I was driving so pulled the seat up closer, so when I got in the back seat it was easier to see under it.

  8. I do hate when I can't find something. It happened to me last Saturday, I couldn't find a badspread I put away at the beginning of autumn...I look for it everywhere and then I found it where I have already looked several times. Happy you found it

    1. HaHa. The missing bedspread. I have several bins in our storage and I need to see if some of my missing bedding is there...

  9. I do this all the time and usually they reappear in a place I could have sworn I searched a dozen times. So happy you found them!
Once I mistakenly cracked an egg into my cup of coffee. Clearly I needed my coffee in order to avoid being half asleep. I have also discovered things in the fridge that have no business being in the fridge. Oh well. You're not alone!

    1. Isn't it totally frustrating when you just know something has to be close by...and yet it seems miles away. It is really a relief to find my camera.

  11. Usually when you are frantically looking is when you won't find a thing. It must have jiggled around enough to work its way out so you could see it.
