A GOOD SMELL FROM THE KITCHEN

What do you do with 4 Granny Smith apples.  You could slice them and serve on a cute tray with cheese and crackers.....or in my kitchen they would become an apple pie.  A little ice cream is left in the freezer, and that will make a nice dessert for my dearest.

That good smell from the kitchen reminds me my life is getting back to normal.

How was your Tuesday?

  1. I so enjoyed going back and seeing more of your birthday party and all your friends and now I know about the bouquet of roses of all colors. What a sweet husband. Perhaps only a pastor could pull off such a presentation! The pie looks delicious!

  2. It was wonderful! Beautiful weather, Bible study, special lunch with the leaders of our Bible study, gifts for my birthday, meeting new people at the senior center, and dinner with friends. I bet your apple pie is the best! It's beautiful.

  7. I have a feeling your kitchen smells good all the time. LOL. Wanda, I visit with Nellie at Berries and More...that woman is always cooking up some thing good to eat. I told her once if I were her neighbor I would be walking back and forth in front of her house just to enjoy the aromas. LOL. I hope you drop in on her. I think you two sweet ladies would like each other. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  8. Normal. Hmmm... what's that? :-)
Your pie looks so very tasty. Nothing like the smell of freshly baked treats.
In answer to your question, my day was pretty quiet. Did a few chores and was supposed to attend the opera but was just not up to sitting for three and a half hours so rescheduled. Joints are not great.
Tonight I'm attending a book launch! Should be fun. Happy Wednesday!
