MELT MY HEART

Our little Tristan is working on his putting~ He loves going to the golf course.  So cute.  He'll be 3 in June.

Jill and Tristan.  Oregon is beautiful, but so far away for GG and Grandpa.   We "Skype" quite often, so he knows who we are and we get to watch him play and show us his toys!

A couple of weeks ago, he was in the other room, so we told Jill goodbye.   Next thing we knew, the skype came on, and she said Tristan was upset when he came back in the room and we were gone and he didn't get to say goodbye.   So he said "good bye".    Melt my heart!

    1. Wow, what a wonderful story. So proud of Jake. Maybe Tristan has a future. I hope so. Golf is so much safer than football, which another of my gransons plays at college back east.
      Blessings Susie!

  4. How cute, have you got a future Jordan Spieth in the family. Love Skype, we use it every week to talk to our daughter in Japan.

  6. I'm so glad you can keep in touch with Tristan. Where did the time go? 3 years old already....
    Love seeing him golfing.
Oregon seems so far away for us too. I miss my son and the everyday things of life that just seem to fade away.
Willie Nelson...HaHa....I am beginning to sound like him too, especially before I have had my morning coffee..(:0)

    1. Can you believe it was almost 3 years ago when we were there at his birth. I know OR feels so far for both of us. I pray M is doing well.

  9. Good job, Tristan!
We've skyped with Jim and Michele a time or two. Gotta be thankful for modern technology when those little guys are so far away. We'll have to do a picture comparison and see if they still look anything alike.

  10. Well you are more technologically advanced that I as i have never skyped yet and find the whole thing quite foreign. my family wants to but I can;t seem to embrace the idea for some reason. anyway, glad it's working for you. :)

    1. My dear Michael, if you had a grandchild far away, you would bite the bullet and Skype. HaHa.

  13. I can't imagine how I could survive if my granddaughter was far away. It is not the most convenient situation of her and mom living here, but I don't want them far away.
