ITSY BITSY SANDWICHES

There is a sign up sheet for the refreshments at my Tuesday morning Bible Study.  You can sign up for baked goods, fruit or juice.  Most of the time there are coffee cakes, donuts, I've made scones, but yesterday, I just wasn't in the mood to bake.

I made a platter of itsy bitsy chicken salad sandwiches.  It was a great change of pace and every one enjoyed something different.  I did stop at Yum Yum Donuts and took a dozen and cut them in half for those who needed a sugar rush.

I look forward to Tuesday morning and getting to share with the ladies of our church.

  1. I would always pick an itty, bitty sandwich over sweets. Other than chocolate I'm not much of a sweet eater.

  4. We always called these "church lady sandwiches" because that's what they were! I love them.
Wouldn't it be fun to have a proper high tea together? I am going to muse on that today. :-)

    1. "church lady sandwiches" I love that. Yes I've made many platters full and also hosted many tea parties. 8 hatboxes full of teacups, pots, and etc. Would love for us to host a tea party. Maybe we could do a blog tea party HaHa.

  5. Wanda, Chicken salad sandwiches is my all time favorite. I could eat them more than once a week and never grow tired of them. Same goes for taco salads. Glad you enjoyed your time with the ladies. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
