A SURPRISE PARTY

Our oldest daughter, Michel has a birthday today, and her daughter, Monique planned an elaborate "Surprise" Birthday Party last Saturday.

I won't go into the details of the work it took and the lies that were told to pull it off!  But it worked and she was completely SURPRISED!

Top picture is getting ready to take the Limosine to the  "Twisted Paint" Party.  Nine gals in a Limo...that was a blast!

If you've never done the Group Painting Party, it was so fun and we were instucted on each part of the painting.  We did a glass vase of lilacs.  The left painting is mine and the right is our Granddaughter Monique working on hers.

Another one of those events keeping me hopping!! It's so great living near our kids and participate in family activities.

  1. Wanda, I bet riding in the limo was so fun. I do love the paintings. I have never heard of this kind of party...but love it. Yes, being able to be with our families is so good...it lifts our spirits. Blessings to all and happy birthday to your daughter, xoxo, Susie

    1. The Limo was a blast...Loud music...loud girls, lots of laughing. A good time for our first born. I remember March 23, 1962 like it was yesterday.

  2. Ohhh....lots of fun!...and painting no less! Looks like you had a fabulous party. There's a place here called Pinot Gallery (I think that's the correct spelling) and they kind of do something similar. Hope you're having a good week. :)

    1. Can't beat "family time" and with the girls it was especially special. Painting for the first time with acrylics was fun too.

    2. Amazing youve enver done that before, actaully! Still, those aren't as easy as watercolours can be for carrying around, clean up and so on, plus, of course far more expensive, unfortunately.
